Influence of Mawangdui medicine on the origin of spleen-stomach theory in Huxiang traditional Chi-nese medicine school and its contemporary implications

Abstract
As the earliest existing medical books,the medical books from Mawangdui Han Tombs contain rich and profound knowledge regarding the prevention and treatment of spleen and stomach diseases,which requires in-depth exca-vation and exploration.By systematically reviewing the theories and therapies for spleen and stomach diseases contained in representative works such as Prescriptions for Fifty-two Diseases and Ten Questions,this article investigates the relation-ship between these books and the formation and development of the spleen-stomach theory in the Huxiang region.Through an analysis of its developmental trajectory since the Western Han Dynasty,the academic characteristics of Mawangdui medicine are summarized as"advocating the homology of medicine and food,emphasizing guidance and regulation,and emphasizing the protection of stomach Qi",which not only provides a documentary basis for the evolution of the Huxiang spleen-stomach theory,but also offers an academic reference for the contemporary prevention and treatment of spleen and stomach diseases and the research on the modernized inheritance of Chinese medical classics.关键词
