A Study on the Ameliorative Effect of Geraniin on Nonalcoholic Fatty Liver Disease Based on Intestinal Flora
摘要
Abstract
In this study,we investigated the potential mechanism by which Geraniin(GE),a natural polyphenol compound,ameliorates nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD)based on intestinal microbiota sequencing.The results show that Geraniin may improve NAFLD through a dual mechanism involving the"gut-liver axis":on one hand,it directly inhibits hepatic lipid accumulation and inflammation;on the other hand,it reshapes the structure of intestinal flora,reduces endotoxin leakage,and promotes metabolic homeostasis.This study provides experimental evidence for the use of Geraniin in the treatment of NAFLD,though its specific mechanism of action and clinical translation require further investigation.关键词
