Application of CRISPR/Cas9 Gene Editing Animal Models in Translational Medicine Research
摘要
Abstract
Animal models are important tools for translating therapies from the laboratory to clinical appli-cations.With the continuous development of gene editing technology,construction of gene editing animal models based on clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats/CRISPR associated protein 9(CRISPR/Cas9)offers new possibilities for studying pathogenesis,developing new therapeutic approaches,and evaluating drug efficacy.This paper briefly describes technology and principles of CRISPR/Cas9,sum-marises the application of gene editing animal models in human and animal translational medicine research,and discusses the challenges and solution strategies during the application of CRISPR/Cas9,in order to promote the application of gene editing technology in the construction of animal models.关键词
