Creation and Practice of the High-level Horticultural Talents Training Model of"Three Systems-Five Adherences"

Abstract
Graduate education bears the responsibility of training high-quality,high-level innovative tal-ent for national modernization.Responding to the demands of New Agriculture initiatives at agri-related universities and the high-quality development of the horticultural industry,this study addresses major challenges in the cultivation of advanced horticultural talents—specifically,the disconnection between dissertation topics and industrial needs,and the overemphasis on academic publication at the expense of technological innovation.Based on over ten years of research into training models for advanced horticul-tural talents,a series of reform measures have been proposed,leading to the establishment of a new model characterized by the"Three-System Overall Framework and Five-Principle Systematic Ap-proach."This new model is guided by the educational philosophy of"originating from the industry and ultimately serving the industry."Targeting academic doctoral students,it aims to cultivate morally grounded,highly competent,and comprehensively skilled horticultural professionals.The model operates through an integrated mechanism encompassing"team collaboration,base resources,project funding,platform facilities,and institutional management,"supported by a cutting-edge curriculum system and a diversified evaluation framework.At its core lies an industry-oriented research topic system constructed upon five systematic principles.Since its implementation,the model has achieved remarkable results.It has realized multidimensional integration among industry and education,research and teaching,and has effectively promoted the deep linkage of the"talent chain,innovation chain,and industrial chain."This synergy has yielded"high-impact publications,efficient technologies,superior cultivars,top-tier talents,and national awards,"thereby achieving synchronous advancement in talent cultivation,scientific re-search,and social service.The model has made significant contributions to the high-quality development of China's horticultural industry and the revitalization of rural areas.关键词
