Research on the Long-Term Mechanism of Yellow River Culture Empowering the High-Quality Development of Ideological and Political Education in Agricultural and Forestry Universities

Abstract
The Yellow River culture is a vital part of Chinese civilization,embodying the spiritual roots of the Chinese nation and holding profound historical significance and contemporary value.In the new era,ideological and political education in agricultural and forestry universities is advancing toward high-quality development,yet it still faces certain challenges.Harnessing the Yellow River culture to empow-er this educational domain provides not only cultural and spiritual nourishment but also intellectual sup-port for national strategies such as ecological protection and high-quality development in the Yellow River Basin,as well as the broader goal of building an agricultural powerhouse.The sustainable mecha-nism for integrating the Yellow River culture into ideological and political education is grounded in the cultural-educational compatibility between the two and is based on their shared functions,objectives,themes,and methods.This mechanism operates through a dual engine of cultural immersion and educa-tional innovation,aiming to cultivate a new generation of agricultural and forestry professionals who possess both technical expertise and a strong sense of cultural mission.Theoretically,it draws on the in-tegration of the Marxist"soul lineage"with the Yellow River culture's"root lineage"as its guiding framework.In practice,it engages four key educational arenas—classroom instruction,campus culture,online platforms,and institutional governance—while implementing both on-campus and off-campus(community-based)educational programs.A diversified evaluation system involving multiple stake-holders,methodologies,and formats further supports this mechanism,forming a coordinated,closed-loop system that drives the high-quality development of ideological and political education in agricultural and forestry institutions.关键词
