New Pathways for Doctoral Training in Crop Science Oriented Toward Building an Agricultural Power

摘要

Abstract

In response to the challenges of disconnection between education and industry,weakened value guidance,collaborative barriers,and inefficient achievement transformation in China's doctoral training for Crop Science,Zhejiang University has developed an innovative training system characterized by a"dual-core driven,three-phase embedded,four-dimensional synergistic"approach.This system pri-oritizes the integration of"disciplinary foundation×value cultivation,"merging scientific research with ideological education.By following a pathway of"in-depth foundational research-industry integra-tion-global perspective development,"it effectively connects basic research to industrial applications.The system capitalizes on strategic alliances and inter-university collaboration mechanisms to consoli-date resources within the Yangtze River Delta region,establishing practical bases that encompass"labo-ratory-field trials-industrial chains"while implementing a"real-world problem-solving"pedagogy.O-ver 16 years of continuous exploration and practice,this approach has successfully cultivated a wealth of interdisciplinary talent,significantly contributing to the revitalization of the seed industry and rural are-as,while also providing a replicable model for talent training in the pursuit of building an agricultural powerhouse.
