基于标本中气理论探析《伤寒论》阳明病
A Brief Analysis of Yangming Disease in Treatise on Cold Damage Based on the Tip-Root-Middle Qi Theory

Abstract
Based on the theory of tip-root-middle qi in Huangdi Neijing,this article systematically elucidates the physiological and pathological mechanisms as well as the syndrome differentiation and treatment rules of Yangming disease in the"Treatise on Cold Damage".By analyzing the generation mechanism of dryness among the six climatic qi,this article explores the physiological characteristics of Yangming dry metal described as"taking dryness as its root,yang as its tip,and Taiyin as its central qi",Specifically,under the neutralizing effect of Taiyin damp-earth,Yangming dryness governs the digestion and transmission of the stomach and intes-tines,the descending of yang qi,and the distribution of body fluid.At the pathological level,disruption of the balance between dryness and dampness can lead to excessive heat,damage to dryness-metal,and insufficient descending yang,which are treated with Baihu Decoction and Chengqi Decoction to clear and expel excess heat;damage of Taiyin fluid and excess dryness,which are treated with Mazi Ren Pill to moisten dryness to receive the bowels;and insufficient dryness transformation and excess Taiyin,which are treated with Yinchen formulas to drain dampness and eliminate jaundice.The theory of tip-root-middle qi provides a qi transformation perspec-tive for the differentiation of syndromes in the six meridians.Yangming and Taiyin constitute a dynamic system of"mutual assistance between dryness and dampness",which can restore the physiological function of"Yangming as the descending"by regulating the balance between dryness and dampness.关键词
