Treatment of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome Complicated with Insulin Resistance Based on the Principle of"Treating with Orchid-Flavored Herbs to Eliminate Stagnant Pathogenic Qi"

Abstract
Polycystic ovary syndrome combined with insulin resistance(PCOS-IR)is a common disease mainly characterized by abnormalities in the female reproductive system and endocrine-metabolic system.Hyperinsuli-nemia leads to ovarian hyperfunction,resulting in hyperandrogenism,persistent anovulation,and polycystic ovar-ian changes.Clinically,it often shows as menstrual cycle disorders,obesity,hirsutism,acne,etc.Huangdi Neijing proposes"treating with orchid-flavored herbs to eliminate stagnant pathogenic qi"describing the treat-ment method for spleen-heat syndrome.The core pathogenesis of spleen-heat syndrome is spleen deficiency and dampness accumulation,emphasizing metabolic abnormalities as the key factor,with insulin resistance as the central link in its pathogenesis.The core pathogenesis of PCOS-IR is also"spleen deficiency,dampness accu-mulation,and stagnant qi"This article combines the theory of"treating with orchid-flavored herbs to eliminate stagnant pathogenic qi"clarifies the general treatment method of dispelling dampness with fragrant herbs and strengthening spleen qi,and uses modified Huopo Xialing Decoction to regulate glucose and lipid metabolism,achieving the goal of"eliminating stagnant qi"Simultaneously attach one case for verification and offer new ideas and methods for the diagnosis and treatment of PCOS-IR.关键词
