Explanation of the Formula and Syndrome of Fengyin Decoction
摘要
Abstract
There are controversies surrounding Fengyin decoction in terms of its indications,compatibility,and formulation rationale.This study analyzes its potential in treating various diseases caused by internal stirring of wind-fire.The entire prescription primarily consists of cold and sedative herbs,with talc,caicite,gypsum,dragon's bone,and oyster shell serving as the sovereign ingredients.It also incorporates astringent and warming herbs,using astringency to restrain tonification and warmth to counteract coldness.Its main efficacy lies in clear-ing heat and extinguish wind.Considering its modern clinical application progress,its use should not be limited to the original indications.It can be applied wherever the pathogenesis corresponds,and a case report is presen-ted to demonstrate its therapeutic effect.关键词
