《严氏济生方》眩晕证治探析
Exploration and Analysis of Vertigo Treatment in YAN's Presriptions for Succouring the Sick

Abstract
YAN's presriptions for succouring the sick was compiled by Southern Song dynasty physician YAN Yonghe.It is a comprehensive medical work that systematically summarizes clinical experience prior to the Song dynasty.YAN held that vertigo has manifold etiologies and intricate pathomechanisms;consequently,he reduced its causes to two overarching categories:external contraction and internal injury.For externally contracted verti-go,he advocated resolving the exterior and expelling pathogenic factors as the primary method;for vertigo due to internal injury,he emphasized rectifying qi and dissipating phlegm.For vertigo caused by other etiologies,he in-sisted on integrating disease identification with pattern differentiation and administering treatment according to the specific cause.This paper examines YAN's approach from three perspectives-theoretical origins,etiology and pathomechanisms,and therapeutic methods with corresponding formulas-in order to elucidate the academic es-sence of his management of vertigo and its enduring influence on the subsequent development of Chinese medical theory concerning this condition.关键词
