摘要

Abstract

[Objective]Mango is the world's second-largest tropical fruit in terms of cultivation area and yield,and enjoys the reputation of"King of Tropical Fruits".This study aimed to explore the differences in phenotypic traits between vegetative and reproductive organs of 6 mango germ-plasm materials,so that to provide a scientific basis for the efficient utilization of mango germplasm resources,breeding of elite varieties,and collection of wild resources.[Method]Six mango germ-plasm materials were selected for experiment,including purple-red peel varieties(Irwin,Jinxing),yellow peel varieties(Tainung No.1,Guire 71),and green peel varieties(Guire 82,Yunnan local variety).Fourty two phenotypic traits of leaves,fruits and flowers were investigateded.Comprehen-sive evaluation was done via significant difference test,Spearman correlation analysis,and system-atic cluster analysis of selected 15 quantitative traits.[Result]The coefficient of variation(CV)of the 15 quantitative traits in the 6 tested mango germplasm materials ranged from 4.67%to 65.29%.Among them,single fruit weight(CV 65.29%)and proportion of bisexual flowers(CV 41.67%)showed a relatively large variation range,while the phenotypic traits of leaves all exhibited a small-er variation range.Analysis of variance(ANOVA)showed that there were extremely significant dif-ferences in the traits of flowers,fruits,and leaves in different germplasm materials.Correlation analysis showed that the transverse diameter of fruit had an extremely significant positive correlation with the longitudinal diameter of fruit,lateral diameter of fruit,single fruit weight,peel weight,stone weight,edible rate,seed length,seed width,seed thickness,leaf width,lenticel size,and juice content,and had an extremely significant negative correlation with the number of bisexual flowers,shape of fruit's dorsal shoulder,peel texture,amount of fibers on stone surface,and em-bryo type.The longitudinal diameter of fruit had an extremely significant negative correlation with the peel texture and amount of fibers on stone surface,and a significant negative correlation with leaf length-width ratio,proportion of bisexual flowers,number of bisexual flowers,lenticel densi-ty,and embryo type.Cluster analysis divided the 42 phenotypic traits into 6 groups with distinct characteristics,revealing that phenotypic traits in the same group exhibited coordinated changes or high correlation;and divided the 6 different germplasm materials into 4 groups with distinct charac-teristics,which demonstrated the genetic diversity of mango germplasm resources.[Conclusion]This study initially clarified the correlation rules,interaction relationships,and coordinated connec-tion networks in the traits of vegetative organs and reproductive organs of 6 mango germplasm mate-rials,which could be referred by further innovative utilization of mango germplasm resources and selection of elite new varieties.
