摘要

Abstract

Objective To explore the impact of cognitive-experiential-reflection training on the humanistic care ability of junior nurses in primary hospitals.Methods Junior nurses from two county-level hospitals in a certain city were selected as the research subjects.Hospital A was designated as the control group,while Hospital B was the experimental group.The control group received routine on-the-job humanistic care education,while the experimental group received cognitive-experiential-reflection training on the basis of the control group.The intervention lasted for 16 weeks.The humanistic care ability questionnaire was used to evaluate both groups before and after the intervention.And a summary analysis of the reflection results was conducted in the experimental group.Results A total of 131 nurses completed the study,including 64 in the control group and 67 in the experimental group.After the intervention,except for the courage dimension score of the control group showing no statistical difference compared with the score before the intervention(P>0.05),the total score of humanistic care ability and the scores of the cognition and patience dimensions in both groups were higher than before those the intervention(all P<0.05).The total score of humanistic care ability and the scores of the three dimensions of cognition,courage,and patience in the experimental group were all higher than those in the control group(all P<0.05).The reflection results condensed into six themes:recognizing that nursing procedures are the process of implementing humanistic care;understanding the physical and mental needs of patients in terms of care;recognizing the importance of humanistic care;knowing how to better implement humanistic care;strengthening the belief in practicing humanistic care;enhancing the ability to think independently.Conclusions The cognitive-experiential-reflection training helps nurses better understand the needs of patient care,and it can effectively enhance the humanistic care ability of junior nurse in primary hospitals.
