Abstract
Phosphotyrosine-interacting structural domain 1(PID1)is a novel gene identified in retroperitoneal adipose tissue of obese individuals,which plays a key regulatory role in the proliferation and differentiation stages of adipocytogenesis.To investigate the function of the sheep PID1 gene,the structural features of the sheep PID1 gene and its encoded product were analysed in this study using bioinformatics software.Results showed that the sheep PID1 gene contains an open reading frame with a maximum length of 612 bp and is thought to encode 203 amino acid residues.The molecular formula of the sheep PID1 protein isC1021H1606N280O304S14,the molecular mass is 23115.36 Da and the theoretical pI is 6.25.By predicting the conditions for the transmembrane region and sig-nal peptide,the results showed that the protein has no transmembrane region and signal peptide and is therefore an unstable hydrophil-ic non-transmembrane protein.These findings provide a theoretical basis for understanding the biological function of the sheep PID1 gene and its role in the regulation of lipid metabolism,which is of great importance for molecular breeding and lipid metabolism re-search in sheep.关键词
