Study on the prevention and control effect of disinfection management mode of orthopedic external medical devices based on information tech-nology on nosocomial infection in disinfection supply center

Abstract
Objective This study focused on the orthopedic external medical devices from the disinfection supply center to explore the effect of the information-based management model on nosocomial infection prevention and control.Methods From January to June 2024,the orthopedic external medical devices from the Disinfection Supply Center of Fuzhou First People's Hospital were selected as the research objects.The orthopedic external medical devices in the disinfection supply room from January to March 2024 were set as the control group,and those from April to June 2024 were set as the observation group,with 260 pieces in each group.The control group adopted the conventional management model,while the observation group adopted disinfection management mode of orthopedic external medical devices based on information technology.The device management quality,the quality of cleaning and sterilization,the nosocomial infection situation,and the department satisfaction were compared between the two groups.Results The department satisfaction,as well as the qualification rates of device management and cleaning and sterilization of the observation group were higher than those of the control group,and the nosocomial infection rate was lower than that of the control group,with statistically significant differ-ences(P＜0.05).Conclusion The use of the information-based management model for orthopedic external medical devices in the disinfection supply center has good effect on the prevention and control of hospital-acquired infections.关键词
