基于镓熔点新内插方法可行性探索
Feasibility Study of a Novel Interpolation Method Based on Gallium Melting Point

Abstract
To investigate the feasibility of substituting the triple point of water with the gallium melting point as the resistance ratio reference point for the International Temperature Scale of 1990(ITS-90),the interpolation equations and reference functions defined by ITS-90 were preserved unchanged.Calibration data were obtained from 37 standard platinum resistance thermometers for the temperature range of 273.16 K to 933.473 K and from 27 thermometers for the range of 83.808 3 K to 273.16 K.A novel interpolation equation was developed using the gallium melting point as the reference point and subsequently compared with the original ITS-90 equation based on the triple point of water.Results revealed that in 273.16~933.473 K,the deviation from the original equation after substitution was merely 11 μK,while in 83.808 3~273.16 K,the deviation did not exceed 0.5 mK.Uncertainty propagation analysis indicated that deviations of both equations were within 0.4 mK.The approach provides a novel perspective and enhanced feasibility for the application of the ITS-90.关键词
