口服肠内营养制剂在高强度聚焦超声治疗子宫肌瘤术前肠道准备中应用
Application of oral enteral nutrition formula in preoperative bowel preparation for high-intensity focused ultrasound ablation of uterine fibroids

Abstract
Objective To evaluate the safety and feasibility of using an oral enteral nutrition formula for preoperative bowel preparation for high-intensity focused ultrasound(HIFU)ablation of uterine fibroids.Methods A total of 140 patients diagnosed with uterine fibroids who underwent HIFU ablation at Zigong Fourth People's Hospital from January 2023 to December 2023 were selected as the study subjects.They were randomly assigned to either the study group(receiving preoperative oral enteral nutrition formula)or the con-trol group(receiving conventional bowel preparation),with 70 patients in each group.HIFU ablation-related parameters,biochemical indices,as well as preoperative and postoperative(intraoperative)pain scores,thirst scores,hunger scores and complications were compared between the two groups.Results HIFU sonication time,treatment intensity and treatment dose in the study group were significantly lower,while postoperative prealbumin level was significantly higher and perioperative fluid infusion volume was significantly lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The time required for establishing the acoustic pathway,HIFU ablation time,ablation rate of uterine fibroids,postoperative fasting time,length of hospital stay,hospitalization costs and complications showed no significant differences between the two groups(P>0.05).Postoperative pain scores,pre-operative and postoperative thirst scores,and pre-operative and postoperative hunger scores in the study group were significantly lower,whereas patient satis-faction scores were significantly higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Preoperative oral administration of enteral nutrition preparations is safe and feasible for patients with uterine fibroids undergoing HIFU treatment,and effectively improves the treat-ment experience.关键词
