数字经济对我国城乡居民收入差距的影响分析
Analysis of the impact of the digital economy on the income gap between urban and rural residents in China
摘要
Abstract
This article selects panel data from 31 provinces(autonomous regions,municipalities)in China,excluding Hong Kong,Macau,and Taiwan,from 2014 to 2023.Principal component analysis is used to measure the level of digital economy development,and a fixed effects model is used to study the impact of the digital economy on the income gap between urban and rural residents.Research shows that the digital economy has significantly suppressed the income gap between urban and rural residents.The impact of the digital economy on the income gap between urban and rural residents varies across regions,and the degree of impact,in descending order,is in the west,east,and central regions.The robustness test of variable replacement and tail reduction processing is conducted,and the results are still reliable.Therefore,different economic development strategies should be adopted for different regions,according to local conditions,optimize resource allocation,break regional barriers,establish a unified digital system,and reduce the income gap between urban and rural residents.关键词
