Influence of obstetric whole—course mental health service on prenatal anxiety and postpartum depression in parturients

Abstract
Objective:To explore the influence of obstetric whole-course mental health service on prenatal anxiety and postpartum depression in parturients.Methods:Sixty-three parturients who received routine nursing from June 2022 to June 2023 were included in the control group,and sixty-three parturients receiving obstetric whole-course mental health service on the basis of routine nursing between July 2023 and July 2024 were enrolled as the study group.Prenatal anxiety,postpartum depression,childbirth self-efficacy,maternal role adaptation ability and quality of life were compared between groups.Results:The scores of Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA)and Edinburgh Post-natal Depression Scale(EPDS)in the study group before delivery and at 1 week after delivery were lower than those in the control group(t=-5.090,-6.319,-6.203,-6.192;P＜0.05).At 1 week after delivery,the scores of various di-mensions and total score of Short Form of Chinese Childbirth Self-Efficacy Inventory(CBSEI-32)were higher in the study group than those in the control group(t=4.837,7.108,5.376;P＜0.05).The scores of items of role identi-ty,care behavior and parent-child attachment and total score of maternal role adaptation questionnaire in the study group were higher compared to the control group(t=4.076,4.779,6.735,6.818;P＜0.05).The study group had higher scores of mental function,physical function and social function of GQOLI-74 than the control group(t=5.166,5.128,2.433;P＜0.05),but no significant difference was exhibited in the score of material life status between the study group and the control group(t=1.086,P=0.279).Conclusion:Obstetric whole-course mental health serv-ice can improve maternal prenatal anxiety and postpartum depression,enhance maternal childbirth self-efficacy and maternal role adaptation ability,and promote quality of life.关键词
