Abstract
Residential communities are the microcosm of urban operation, carrying residents'aspirations for an ideal life.At present, the construction of integrated communities is being widely promoted across the country. This paper systematically analyzes the practical process of the comprehensive community renovation in Hangzhou through the"problem identification-path exploration"framework, with the aim of distilling a classic model for the transformation of old residential communities.Focusing on common problems in the renewal of old residential communities, such as piecemeal master planning, fragmented and imbalanced supply of public service facilities, shortcomings in the transportation system, and weak cultural identity, the study summarizes four holistic renovation strategies:breaking boundary barriers, interconnecting transport networks, reconstructing spatial dimensions, and reshaping cultural identity. The research aims to provide a systematic, replicable, and quantifiable approach to the renewal of old communities.关键词
