Cultivation of Top-tier Innovative Talents:Evolution,Characteristics and Trends

Abstract
Since the reform and opening up,the evolutionary process of cultivating top-notch innovative talents in China can be divided into five stages:the exploration stage of education for gifted children,the exploration stage of infrastructure construction for fundamental disciplines,the reflection and exploration stage under the quality-oriented education policy,the active exploration stage in response to the"Qian Xuesen Question",and the upgrading and innovative exploration stage.The policy orientation and implementation path of each stage exhibit distinct characteristics of the times.This paper summarizes six characteristics and four strategic shifts in the cultivation of top-notch innovative talents,aiming to provide useful references and insights for the practice of cultivating top-notch innovative talents in China.关键词
