Abstract
When confronted with risks and crises such as economic difficulties,marital disputes and severe illnesses,Chinese people tend to tackle and resolve them collectively as a family unit,demonstrating strong family resilience.However,existing Western family resilience theories face the problem of insufficient adaptability when applied in the Chinese context characterized by distinct cultural backgrounds.Based on this,this study constructs an indigenous theoretical framework of family resilience centered on relationalism-based"ethics"from the perspective of traditional Chinese culture.This framework emphasizes that family resilience is an ethical practice system guided by the principles of"filial piety","permeability"and"action-orientedness".It comprises three core mechanisms:a resource linkage mechanism based on the"relational self",a reciprocal favor-exchange mechanism centered on the sense of family responsibility,and an ethical obligation mechanism the prioritizes"doing"over"saying".Rooted in the core of"ethics",this indigenous theoretical framework can more accurately explain and guide the performance of Chinese families in crises.Meanwhile,in family social work services and policy formulation,it is argued that efforts should not be limited to provide emotional support;instead,greater emphasis should be placed on fostering ethical responsibilities such as filial piety and practical actions.关键词
