The Historical Evolution and Shaping Factors of U.S.Covert Action
摘要
Abstract
[Purpose]This study seeks to investigate the evolutionary trajectory of U.S.covert action,distilling its primary developmental drivers,thereby offering constructive insights for cultivating integrated national security intelligence capabilities.[Method]Through his-torical analysis,relevant U.S.historical events are systematically reviewed.Drawing on documentary research,declassified government archives and publicly available scholarly works are analyzed to examine key phases,conceptual shifts,and motivating factors in the evolu-tion of U.S.covert action.[Result/Conclusion]The practice of U.S.covert action is deeply influenced by multidimensional forces in-cluding strategic imperatives,leadership perceptions,political culture,and legal-public opinion dynamics.Its conceptual boundaries con-tinue to evolve through ongoing negotiation.Amid renewed great power competition,impending adjustments to U.S.covert methodolo-gies merit sustained attention from the intelligence studies community.关键词
