复方中草药对京粉蛋鸡的有效性评价
Evaluation of Effectiveness of Compound Chinese Herbal Medicine on Beijing Pink Laying Hens

Abstract
This experiment was conducted to investigate the effects of compound Chinese herbal medicine on egg quality,growth performance,antioxidant,immunity and gut microbiology of Peking powder laying hens.Two hundred and eighty-eight 55-week-old laying hens with comparable egg production and health level were randomly divided into four groups:a control group[basal diet(group C)]and three treatment groups[1 kg/t(group S1),2 kg/t(group S2),3 kg/t(group S3)of compound Chinese herbal medicine added to the basal diet,respectively].Each group consisted of 9 chickens each,with 8 replicates,and the feeding trial lasted for 63 d.The results showed that:egg shape index was significantly increased in the S1,S2 and S3 groups compared with the C group(P<0.01);superoxide dismutase(SOD)level was significantly increased in the S1 and S2 groups compared with the C group(P<0.05);total antioxidant capacity(T-AOC)level was highly significantly increased in the S3 group com-pared with the C group(P<0.01);compared with the C group,the S1 and S2 groups significantly decreased ileal interleukin 1β levels(P<0.05),and S1,S2 and S3 groups highly significantly decreased ileal interleukin 6 levels(P<0.01);S2 and S3 groups significantly and highly decreased cecum tumour necrosis factor(TNF-α)levels(P<0.01)compared to group C;S2 and S3 groups increased the abundance of Bifidobacterium bifidum in the small intestine compared to group C;and S1,S2 and S3 groups increased the abundance of Lactobacillus coli.This indicates that compound Chinese herbal medicine are multifunctional feed additives with significant beneficial effects on various aspects of poultry health and well-being.关键词
