黄柏提取物对断奶仔猪生长性能、肠道发育及抗氧化功能的影响
Effects of Phellodendron Extract on Growth Performance,Intestinal Development and Antioxidant Function in Weaned Piglets

Abstract
This study aimed to investigate the effects of Phellodendron extract(PE)on growth performance,intestinal development and antioxidant function in weaned piglets.A total of forty-eight healthy 21-day-old crossbred weaned piglets(Duroc×Landrace×Yorkshire,male∶female=1∶1)were randomly assigned to control group and experimental group with six replicates per group and four piglets per replicate.Piglets in the control group were fed a basal diet,and piglet in experimental group were fed the basal diet supplemented with 120 mg/kg PE.The pre-trial period was 3 d,and the formal trial period was 21 d.The results showed that,compared with con-trol group,piglets in experimental group had sig-nificantly increased final body weight(FBW)and average daily gain(ADG)(P<0.05),while feed-to-gain ratio(F/G)and diarrhea index(DI)were sig-nificantly decreased(P<0.05).The intestinal villus height-to-crypt depth ratio(V/C)was significantly increased(P<0.05),whereas the activities of diamine oxidase(DAO),regenerating islet-derived protein 3(REG-3)and myeloperoxidase(MPO)in intes-tinal tissues were significantly reduced(P<0.05).In addition,the relative protein expression levels of insulin-like growth factor 1(IGF-1)and glucagon-like peptide 2(GLP-2)in the duodenum and jejunum were significantly increased(P<0.05).Furthermore,piglets in experimental group exhibited significantly higher activities of superoxide dismutase(SOD),catalase(CAT),glutathione peroxidase(GSH-Px)and total antioxidant capacity(T-AOC)(P<0.05),whereas malondialdehyde(MDA)concentration was significantly decreased(P<0.05).In conclusion,dietary supplementation with 120 mg/kg PE improved growth perfor-mance,enhanced intestinal development,and increased antioxidant capacity in weaned piglets.关键词
