醒脑开窍针刺法联合通窍活血汤治疗血瘀型创伤后头痛的疗效观察
Observations on the efficacy of brain-refreshing and orifice-opening acupuncture plus orifice-unblocking and blood circulation-promoting decoction for posttraumatic headache of blood stasis type

Abstract
Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of brain-refreshing and orifice-opening acupuncture plus orifice-unblocking and blood circulation-promoting decoction for posttraumatic headache(PTH)of blood stasis type.Method Eighty PTH patients were randomized to control and observation groups,with 40 cases in each group.The control group received oral administration of flunarizine hydrochloride tablets and the observation group,brain-refreshing and orifice-opening acupuncture plus orifice-unblocking and blood circulation-promoting decoction in addition.The traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)symptom score,the pain visual analog scale(VAS)score,the headache impact test version 6(HIT-6)score and serum interleukin-6(IL-6)levels were compared between the two groups before and after treatment.The number of analgesic uses was recorded.Result After treatment,the TCM symptom,VAS and HIT-6 scores and serum IL-6 levels improved in the two groups compared with before(P＜0.05)and were better in the observation group than in the control group(P＜0.05).The number of analgesic uses was significantly smaller in the observation group than in the control group(P＜0.05).The total efficacy rate was 92.5%in the observation group,which was higher than 72.5%in the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion On the basis of oral flunarizine hydrochloride tablets,brain-refreshing and orifice-opening acupuncture plus orifice-unblocking and blood circulation-promoting decoction can effectively relieve the TCM clinical symptoms of PTH,alleviate headache,improve the quality of life and reduce bodily inflammation.关键词
