Advances in the Application of Artificial Intelligence Technologies in Meteorological Satellite Ocean Remote Sensing

Abstract
To address the high-dimensional,heterogeneous,and massive data characteristics of meteorological satellite ocean remote sensing,artificial intelligence(AI)is driving transformative advances in research and applications in the field.This article outlines AI-enabled novel approaches and solutions for ocean studies and applications using meteorological satellite remote sensing.We emphatically introduce some recent progress in AI methodologies across key domains:Satellite data enhancement and fusion,ocean parameter retrieval,marine weather monitoring,and intelligent decision-making.Meanwhile,current core challenges are identified,including bottlenecks in processing multi-source heterogeneous data,integrating data-driven models with physical mechanisms,and bridging operational service chains.Future research should focus on breaking data processing bottlenecks,developing physics-constrained AI models,exploring cutting-edge AI techniques,and promoting scenario-based smart services.These efforts will fully leverage AI's role in enhancing ocean remote sensing capabilities for"precise monitoring,accurate forecasting,and refined services".关键词
