Development of a Laser Experimental Platform Using Fiber Gratings

Abstract
The cultivation of practical abilities and innovative thinking is a key element of higher engineering education.Designing and developing experimental platforms related to professional courses not only stimulates students'learning motivation but also deepens their understanding of professional knowledge.This paper presents an experimental platform for ultrafast lasers based on long-period fiber gratings,starting from the preparation of basic components and using them as core devices to construct a soliton mode-locked fiber laser.The platform encompasses various stages,including device design and fabrication,ultrafast laser system construction,and testing and analysis of laser output characteristics.With its rich experimental content,it guides students from components to systems,enabling them to progressively master the design,optimization,and analysis of complex optical systems,and enhancing their ability to apply professional knowledge and foster innovative thinking.关键词
