Empirical Research on Planning of Connecting Hub Airports with Rail Transit Based on Multi-Level Rail Transit

Abstract
Promoting connecting hub airports with rail transit is an important means to expand the radiation scope of airports and improve the level of aviation service.However,there are problems such as unstable and inaccurate policies,insufficient guidance of existing theoretical research,the limitation of rail transit planning to urban rail transit,and poor benefits of some completed projects.It is urgent to carry out scientific planning research on connecting hub airports with rail transit.The relevant policies issued at the national level were sorted out.The commonalities and differences of the guiding opinions were identified.The three types of lines including special urban rail transit line,composite urban rail transit line,and the utilization of high speed railway/intercity railway to undertake airport passenger flows were further distinguished.Empirical research on connecting hub airports with rail transit was carried out.A planning method for connecting hub airports with rail transit based on multi-level rail transit was proposed.The planning and implementation plan of connecting hub airports with rail transit should be determined according to the airport function positioning,geographical location,transportation demand,multi-level rail transit planning,etc.It should be undesirable to blindly pursue"special urban rail transit line",and priority should be given to build composite urban rail transit lines or use existing railways,thereby undertaking the airport passenger flow.By taking Foshan side of Pearl River Delta Hub Airport as an example for analysis,it is expected to provide references for the planning and optimization of connecting hub airports with rail transit,as well as the formulation of policies.关键词
