Construction and feasibility study on non-pharmaceutical intervention program for cognitive dysfunction in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus

Abstract
Objective:To construct a non-pharmacological intervention program for cognitive impairment(CD)in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE)and to evaluate its feasibility.Methods:Based on a complex intervention design and evaluation framework,the non-pharmacological intervention program for cognitive impairment in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus was constructed through evidence-based research and stakeholder interviews.Patients with systemic lupus erythematosus who sought treatment in the rheumatology and immunology department of a tertiary hospital in Nanjing city from February to March 2025 were recruited.The constructed program was used to implement the intervention for the patients and evaluate its feasibility.Results:The non-pharmacological intervention program for cognitive impairment in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus included 5 primary indicators of organizational management,assessment,exercise guidance,vitamin D supplementation,and health education,13 secondary indicators,and 27 tertiary indicators.The on-site recruitment rate was 90.48%.The retention rate was 84.21%.The participation compliance rate was 84.21%.After 3 months of intervention,except for the fact that there was no significant difference in pain between 1 month and 3 months of intervention(P>0.05),there were statistically significant differences in fatigue,pain,vitamin D levels,quality of life,and cognitive function at three time points(P<0.05).Conclusions:The non-pharmacological intervention program for cognitive dysfunction in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus constructed in this study has good effectiveness and feasibility,and could provide reference for clinical intervention of cognitive dysfunction in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus.关键词
