Exploration on experiments of medical genetics with Drosophila as the model organism
摘要
Abstract
The authors identify problems with traditional experimental teaching of medical genetics:lengthy experimental cycles,complex procedures,and insufficient connection with clinical practice.To address these issues,they have constructed and optimized an experimental teaching model of genetics based on the model organism of Drosophila.Since the genome of Drosophila is highly conserva-tive,the authors use Drosophila as the model organism and redesign the teaching system centered on the training in analysis thinking of genetic mechanism,so that the students can better understand the principles in genetics and improve their ability to translate knowledge into clinical application.The authors design the teaching framework in three dimensions:vertical depth(disease mechanism model-ing),horizontal breadth(integration of PBL teaching and ethical discussion),and temporal scale(a combination of virtual simulation and short-cycle experiments).This teaching reform aims to cultivate well-rounded medical professionals in the era of precision medi-cine,providing reference for similar reforms in the experimental teaching of medical genetics.关键词
