Abstract
Rain attenuation significantly contributes to the transmission loss of high-frequency electromagnetic waves in K-band sat-ellite-to-ground links.Based on the ITU-R P.618-11 model,this paper predicts and analyzes rain attenuation in K-band satellite com-munication links.Using programming,numerical calculations of rain attenuation were conducted for six typical regions in China,consider-ing geostationary satellite orbital positions at 100°E and 120°E,and frequencies of 20 GHz and 25 GHz.The differences in rainfall attenu-ation between the eastern region and the western inland region of China were analyzed.Give a summary of rain attenuation countermea-sures in satellite communication systems.The results provide a theoretical basis for satellite communication ground stations in these re-gions to optimize data transmission and measurement control.关键词
