Abstract
In this paper,the different polymer materials as the ceramic body binder,completely replacing the clay compo-nents in the ceramic body to prepare a clay-free ceramic body.The effects of polymer material types,contents,and pow-der moisture content on the strength of the wet body,dry body,and related properties of the sintered body were investiga-ted.The related properties of ordinary clay-containing bodies and clay-free bodies were compared.The results show that the PVA series binders have a significant effect on simultaneously enhancing the strength of the wet body and the dry body.For the clay-free bodies,the appropriate powder moisture content is 4%to 5%,and the appropriate addition amount of the polymer binder is 3%to 5%.Within a certain range,the powder moisture content is negatively correlated with the strength of the wet body,but has little effect on the strength of the dry body.The amount of the binder is positively corre-lated with the strength of the wet body and the dry body.After sintering,the linear shrinkage of the clay-free bodies is greater than that of the ordinary clay-containing bodies,while the loss on ignition is less than that of the ordinary clay-containing bodies.The water absorption rate,surface glossiness,water absorption rate,bulk density,and flexural strength of the bodies are similar to those of the ordinary clay-containing bodies.In addition,the clay-free bodies have a positive effect on improving the whiteness of the body.关键词
