Expert consensus on the application of topical anesthetics in ophthalmic surgery
摘要
Abstract
Topical ocular anesthesia is conducted by the instillation of topical anesthetics into the conjunctival sac to temporarily block sensory nerve conduction in the ocular surface area,thereby anesthetizing the area of cornea and conjunctiva.Now,topical anesthesia has become main important anesthetic method for day-case ophthalmic surgery.This expert consensus systematically elaborates on the clinical applications of topical anesthesia,including the characteristics and selection principles of commonly used topical anesthetics.It also emphasizes the types of ophthalmic surgeries which are suitable for topical anesthesia and outlines the standardized operational procedures in ophthalmic surgery,including preoperative assessment,administration methods,and efficacy evaluation.It also details measures for the prevention and management of complications and provides medication recommendations for special populations.The aim is to offer a safe and effective implementation guideline for topical anesthesia,promoting the rational application of topical anesthetics in ophthalmic surgery.关键词
