Effect of pulmonary surfactant-associated protein B gene polymorphism on the efficacy of Xuebijing injection combined with human immunoglobulin in treating viral pneumonia

Abstract
AIM To analyze the effect of gene polymorphisms of pulmonary surfactant-associated protein B(SP-B)on the efficacy of Xuebijing injection combined with human immunoglobulin in treating viral pneumonia.METHODS From January 2022 to December 2023,160 patients with viral pneumonia who were treated with Xuebijing injection combined with human immunoglobulin in the hospital were selected as the study objects.Peripheral venous blood was collected after 7-day treatment,and gene sequencing was performed using the direct sequencing method to analyze the relationship between different genotypes of SP-B gene(SFTPB)and the efficacy,as well as inflammatory indicators and lung function.RESULTS After 7-day treatment,the efficacy of patients with C/C genotype at genomic position 18 in SFTPB was significantly higher than that of patients with A/A or A/C genotype(P<0.05).Levels of hypersensitive C-reactive protein(hs-CRP),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)and interleukin-6(IL-6)of patients with C/C genotype at genomic position 18 in SFTPB were lower than those of patients with A/A or A/C genotype(P<0.05).Levels of forced vital capacity(FVC),forced expiratory flow at 50%of forced vital capacity exhaled(FEF50),maximal mid-expiratory flow rate(MMFR)and oxygenation index(OI)of patients with C/C genotype at genomic position 18 in SFTPB were higher than those of patients with A/A or A/C genotype(P<0.05).The efficacy of patients with T/T genotype at genomic position 1580 in SFTPB was higher than that of patients with the C/C or C/T genotypes(P<0.05).Levels of hs-CRP and IL-6 of patients with T/T genotype at genomic position 1580 in SFTPB were lower than those of patients with the C/C or C/T genotypes(P<0.05).Levels of FVC,FEF50,MMFR,and OI of patients with the T/T genotype at genomic position 1580 in SFTPB were higher than those of patients with the C/C or C/T genotypes(P<0.05).CONCLUSION The efficacy,anti-inflammatory effect and pulmonary function rehabilitation effect of Xuebijing injection combined with human immunoglobulin in patients carrying C/C genotype at genomic position 18 in SFTPB with viral pneumonia are better than those in patients with A/A or A/C genotype.The efficacy,anti-inflammatory effect and pulmonary function rehabilitation effect of patients with T/T genotype at genomic position 1580 in SFTPB are better than those of patients with C/C or C/T genotype.关键词
