摘要
Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of azithromycin combined with piperacillin tazobactam on the levels of serum interleukin-6(IL-6)and C-reactive protein(CRP)in children with severe pneumonia. Methods A total of 101 children with severe pneumonia admitted to Jiangning Hospital in Nanjing from March 2022 to March 2025 were selected and divided into the control group(50 cases)and the observation group(51 cases)according to the random number table method. The control group was treated with piperacillin tazobactam, while the observation group was treated with azithromycin dry suspension on the basis of the control group. The treatment effective rate, symptom score, serum IL-6 and CRP levels of the two groups of children were compared. Results The effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 98.04%,which was higher than 84.00%in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the scores of fever, cough and expectoration, wheezing and pulmonary rales in the observation group were all lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The levels of serum IL-6 and CRP in the observation group after treatment were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The combined application of azithromycin on the basis of piperacillin tazobactam can significantly improve the overall therapeutic effect of children with severe pneumonia, effectively promote the rapid relief of clinical symptoms, significantly reduce the levels of serum IL-6 and CRP.关键词
