摘要

Abstract

Objective Through visual analysis,summarize the research status of transcranial magnetic stimulation in the field of spinal cord injury,reveal research hotspots,predict development directions,and provide references for subsequent research.Methods Retrieve relevant literature on the use of transcranial magnetic stimulation in the field of spinal cord injury from the Web of Science core database from 2015 to 2025.Use Citespace 6.4.R1 to analyze the collaborative co-occurrence relationships of factors such as country,institution,and author,as well as keyword co-occurrence,clustering,and emergence data,and draw a visual analysis knowledge graph.Results A total of 438 articles were included.In the past decade,the number of publications on the use of tran-scranial magnetic stimulation in the field of spinal cord injury showed a brief decline in 2019 due to the upcoming update of the guidelines.The top three countries in terms of the number of publications were the United States,China,and Canada.The institution with the highest number of publications was the University of Miami.The author with the highest number of publications was Perez,Monica A from the University of Miami.The author with the highest number of citations was Lefaucheur JP.The article with the high-est number of citations was the application guidelines updated by Lefaucheur JP in 2020.The results of high-frequency keywords showed that in the past decade,research hotspots of transcranial magnetic stimulation in the field of spinal cord injury mainly focused on the mechanism of motor cortex excitability and neural plasticity,as well as the clinical efficacy in motor function recovery and pain relief.Keyword clustering indicates that the hotspots mainly focus on the clinical application and evaluation of traditional repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation,as well as the effects of comparison or combined use with other non-invasive brain stimulation tech-niques.Through keyword burst analysis,it is found that the research content mainly focuses on aspects such as the TBS mode,motor cortex stimulation,prefrontal cortex,and motor function.In the future,the research focus in this field may lie in exploring the differ-ences in curative effects and mechanisms of action brought to patients with spinal cord injury by multiple treatment parameters acting on different stimulation targets and combined with other intervention and evaluation methods.Conclusion The use of neuromodula-tion techniques to treat spinal cord injury has attracted extensive interest from researchers.This study reveals the hotspots and new trends of transcranial magnetic stimulation in the field of spinal cord injury,providing a reference for future research directions.
