摘要

Abstract

To investigate the effects of different nano-iron-based additives on the anaerobic digestion characteristics of kitch-en waste,1 g·L-1of nZVI,Fe2O3 NPs,and Fe3O4 NPs were severally added to the batched anaerobic digestion system un-der mesophilic condition.The results of fermentation indicators,kinetics,and microbial analysis showed that adding all three nano-iron-based substances could improve the methane production performance,with nZVI showed the most signifi-cant effect.After adding nZVI,the cumulative methane production was 394.9 mL·g-1VS,which was 12.5%higher than that of the control group.Additionally,its theoretical maximum methane production potential increased by 10.1%,the maximum methane production rate increased by 14.8%,the lag period was shortened by 47.8%,and the volatile fatty acids in the final slurry decreased by 39.2%.At the peak of biogas production,the concentrations of Fe2+in the slurry with nZVI,Fe2O3 NPs,and Fe3O4 NPs were 53.1%,50.5%,and 25.2%higher than that of the control group,respec-tively.The electron transfer activity was 32.9%,10.4%,and-16.3%higher than that of the control group,respective-ly.The relative abundance of hydrogenophilic methanogenic archaea genus Methanobacterium was 76.7%,5.1%,and 31.8% higher than that of the control group.In summary,adding all three nano-iron-based substances could increase the concentration of Fe2+in the slurry and promote the enrichment of Methanobacterium,thereby shortening the methane pro-duction lag period,increasing the methane production rate,reducing the final VFA accumulation,and ultimately increasing the methane yield.
