Abstract
As a key component of the rural revitalization strategy,digital countryside has a significant impact on high-quality em-ployment of rural labor.Based on the 2022 China Family Panel Studies(CFPS)data and the digital countryside index,this study empir-ically analyzed how digital countryside construction affects high-quality employment of rural labor using benchmark regression models and mediating effect models.The findings showed that:① Digital countryside significantly promoted high-quality employment of rural labor,with the impact varying due to individual characteristics and family structures of rural labor.② The mediating effects of internet use and rural industrial structure optimization were significant.③ Regional and industrial structure differences influenced the effect of digital countryside on improving high-quality employment of rural labor,with more pronounced effects observed among rural labor in eastern regions and tertiary industries.Therefore,it is necessary to continuously advance digital countryside construction,optimize the la-bor employment support system,enhance internet penetration and application capabilities in rural areas,promote digital transformation of rural industries,and implement differentiated regional policies to foster coordinated development.关键词
