Abstract
Syzygium aromaticum is the dried flower buds of a plant belonging to the Myrtaceae family.The primary chemical constitu-ents of Syzygium aromaticum include essential oils(predominantly eugenol),lignans,flavonoids,tripenes,and tannins.They exhibit potent pharmacological effects such as antibacterial,anti-inflammatory,antioxidant and analgesic.Unlike traditional reviews that focus solely on the systematic organization of chemical constituents and pharmacological activities,this paper integrates the shaping role of tropical ecological environments on the synthesis pathways of secondary metabolites in Syzygium aromaticum.It systematically reviews recent advancements in research on the chemical composition and pharmacological mechanisms of Syzygium aromaticum,providing targeted scientific evidence and theoretical references for the in-depth development of medicinal resources,efficient utilization of resources,and subsequent related fundamental research.关键词
