摘要

Abstract

[Objective]Altitudinal gradient variation significantly influences the composition and species diversity of insect communities.To investigate the distribution patterns and driving mechanisms of insect communities along mountain vertical zones.[Method]The structure,diversity,and environmental determinants of insect communities across four altitudinal gradients(1 288 m,1 612 m,1 906 m,2 204 m)in the West Tianshan National Nature Re-serve were systematically analyzed in this study.[Result]The results showed that a total of 6,033 insect specimens were collected,belonging to 69 species across 38 families and 9 orders.Among them,Diptera and Hemiptera were the dominant groups,accounting for over 65%of the total abundance.Insect diversity indices(Shannon-Wiener and Mar-galef richness indices)exhibited significant monotonic decline with increasing elevation(P<0.05),peaking at 1 288 m(H'=2.86)and reaching minimum values at 2 204 m(H'=1.12).Altitude(43.4%variance explained)synergis-tically interacted with temperature(28.9%explained)to drive community composition shifts,while vegetation cover(2.6%),vegetation height(1.4%),and light intensity(0.5%)showed weaker effects.The observed altitudinal di-versity patterns primarily resulted from temperature-habitat heterogeneity coupling,with temperature inversion layer effects inducing nonlinear responses of insect diversity to elevation changes.[Conclusion]This study provides foun-dational entomological data for biodiversity conservation in the Tianshan Mountains and advances scientific under-standing of insect community responses to altitudinal gradients.
