Abstract

Against the backdrop of the"dual-carbon"goals and the rapid electrification in the transport field,large-scale deployment of electric vehicles(EVs)has led to deep coupling between power networks and transport networks through charging infrastructure.The coordinated optimization of coupled power and transportation networks(CPTN)operation has thus emerged as a key consideration in the development of new-type power systems and low-carbon transport systems.While EVs contribute to reducing carbon emissions in the transport sector,facilitating renewable energy consumption in the power sector,and enhancing system flexibility,the spatiotemporal distribution of EV charging loads poses new challenges to the secure and stable operation of power networks and the efficient operation of transport networks.This paper systematically reviews the current research status and developmental trajectory of the coordinated optimization of CPTN.First,the physical coupling formed between power and transport networks during EV charging is summarized,along with the coordinated framework based on information coupling through price and state interactions.Second,modeling approaches for EV charging behavior,traffic flow assignment models,and power flow models of power networks are reviewed,and representative solution methods for nonlinear and nonconvex coordinated optimization problems are summarized.On this basis,results from existing studies in China and foreign countries are systematically reviewed from the perspectives of economical operation,low-carbon operation,pricing strategies,infrastructure capacity planning,and uncertainty optimization.Finally,in light of emerging trends such as new transport modes,deep coupling of multi-energy systems,security and privacy protection,and data-driven coordinated optimization,future research directions for the coordinated optimization of CPTN operation are discussed,to provide references for both theoretical research and engineering practice in this domain.
