Abstract
This paper analyzes and investigates the layout of the outlet and the measures for improving hydrodynamic conditions at the Dongchong Sluice-Pump Station complex.Based on a coupled one-dimensional and two-dimensional hydrodynamic numerical model,a quantitative assessment of the hydrodynamic conditions in the navigation channel under various operational scenarios was conducted.The study shows that the influence of the pumping station discharge on the flow velocity in the channel is confined to an area within 40 m upstream and 60 m downstream of the outlet.The transverse flow velocities in the channel generally meet the code requirements.However,under extreme conditions—where the external river's lowest navigable water level coincides with major internal river flooding(an event with a very low probability of occurrence)—the transverse velocity at local measurement points may still exceed the threshold of 0.3 m/s.To ensure navigation safety,the study proposes a dynamic discharge regulation operational scheme using the real-time water level of the Beijiang River as the control index.A water level-permissible discharge relationship curve was developed,providing scientific and technological support for the project's operation.关键词
