Strategic transformation and market breakthrough of the urban gas industry in the context of connotative urban development
摘要
Abstract
The development of the urban gas industry mirrors China's ongoing urban energy restructuring and socio-economic transformation.As the focus of urban development shifts from incremental expansion to the improvement of existing stock,the urban gas industry has entered a critical phase of transformation.At present,urban gas enterprises face such a triple challenge as stringent safety responsibilities,high service quality standards,and limited room for growth.Moreover,as end-use energy consumption increasingly shifts toward electricity,it will face potential challenges to its survival in the medium to long term due to declining natural gas consumption.This paper proposes that urban gas enterprises proactively align with the objectives of building innovative,resilient,and smart modern cities,focus on their core pipeline gas operations in accordance with modern service industry standards while staying rooted in the city,expand their business boundaries through a user-oriented approach,and move beyond the constraints of gas-only sales and a single gas source to achieve a strategic transformation from urban gas distributors into comprehensive urban energy service providers.关键词
