Expert Consensus on Miao Medicine Diagnosis and Treatment Protocol for Adult-Onset Still's Disease(Heat-Toxin Bi Syndrome)

Abstract
Adult-onset Still's disease(AOSD)is a rare,idiopathic autoinflammatory disorder characterized by fever,rash,joint swelling and pain,sore throat,hepatosplenomegaly,lymphadenopathy,increased periph-eral blood neutrophilia,and elevated serum ferritin.It falls within the category of"heat-toxin bi syndrome"in Miao medicine.There is no unified standard for the treatment and management of adult-onset Still's disease(heat-toxin bi syndrome)in Miao medicine.Following preparation,the Guizhou Provincial Quality Control Center for Traditional Chinese Medicine Rheumatology was formally established.Under this framework,the Rheumatology Professional Committee of the Guizhou Provincial Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine or-ganized dozens of experts in Miao medicine and TCM rheumatology to form an expert working group.Based on evidence-based medicine and expert experience,this diagnostic and treatment guideline was developed.Il en-compasses Miao medical terminology,diagnostic criteria,syndrome differentiation,treatment protocols,nursing care,and efficacy evaluation,with a focus on establishing consensus on Miao medicine treatment approaches for adult Still's disease(heat-toxin bi syndrome).This protocol aims to fill the gap in the treatment of Miao medi-cine of adult Still's disease(heat-toxin bi syndrome),promote the standardization of diagnosis in ethnic medi-cine and improve patient prognosis.关键词
