Abstract

The performance of lithium-ion batteries is mainly affected by the distribution of the conductive network in their cathode slurries.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the influencing factors of the distribution of the conductive network in the cathode slurries.This study has conducted a detailed investigation into the effects of the content(φcom)and ratio(mCB∶mGr)of the composite conductive agent CB/Gr on the distribution of the conductive network in the cathode slurries of lithium-ion batteries.Specifically,by using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy,scanning electron microscopy,and Raman spectroscopy,the electrochemical properties,surface morphology and Raman properties of the cathode slurry under the key influencing factors such as the content and ratio of CB/Gr in the composite conductive agent were comprehensively analyzed.A comparative analysis of the cathode slurries of lithium-ion batteries with different composite conductive agents has been conducted.The results show that the comprehensive performance of the cathode slurry when φcom2=0.50%and mCB∶mGr=2∶1 is superior to that of the cathode slurry when φcom2=0.50%and mCB∶mGr=1∶2.From the perspective of electrochemical properties,a simulation analysis has been performed on the static models of the cathode slurries under different contents and ratios of the composite conductive agent CB/Gr,which verifies the correctness of the conductive network of the cathode slurries obtained from the experiments.The research results indicate that when φcom2=0.50%and mCB∶mGr=2∶1,the conductive network formed by the composite conductive agent CB/Gr exhibits the optimal electrical conductivity.These research results provide a reference for improving the performance of lithium-ion batteries.
