摘要

Abstract

Cu3(VO4)2·3H2 O(CuVs)as a photocatalyst suffers from low charge separation efficiency.The unique structure of carbon dots(CDs)enables them to store and transfer photogenerated electrons,which can synergistically enhance the activation efficiency of peroxydisulfate(PS)when combined with CuVs.In this study,a simple hydrothermal method was used to prepare a CDs/CuVs nanocomposite(CDs/CuVs)for the visible light activation of PS to degrade tetracycline(TC).The introduction of CDs effectively refined the microstructure of CuVs,modulated the distribution of copper valence states,and significantly accelerated interfacial charge separation and migration.Under visible light irradiation,the system achieved a TC degradation efficiency of 99.9%within 40 minutes,with a reaction rate constant(0.11 min-1)6.1 times higher than that of pure CuVs.After five consecutive cycles,the catalytic activity remained at 87%,demonstrating excellent anti-interference capability against ions.Notably,the presence of HCO-3 suppressed the leaching of Cu2+(leaching concentration as low as 0.6 mg/L).Mechanistic studies revealed that the primary active species involved were holes(h+),singlet oxygen(1O2),and hydroxyl radicals(·OH).CDs facilitated the transfer of photogenerated electrons,accelerating the Cu+/Cu2+redox cycle,thereby enhancing PS activation efficiency and photocatalytic performance.This study provides a new strategy for developing highly efficient and stable catalysts.
