Oil recovery mechanisms of CO2 foam flooding in low permeability fractured carbonate reservoir
摘要
Abstract
The flow characteristics of CO2 foam flooding are thoroughly investigated in low permeabili-ty fractured carbonate reservoir.The enhanced oil recovery mechanisms of CO2 foam flooding were analyzed by performing core flooding experiment in carbonate outcrops.Then,a new mechanistic model of CO2 foam flooding was proposed by considering carbonate reservoir characteristics and foam evolution dynamics.The results show that CO2 foam flooding can significantly improve the sweep profile and enhance the performance of waterflooding at the later stage;meanwhile,the new model can effectively predict the space-time evolution characteristics of each phase of CO2 foam flooding and the oil displacement efficiency,as well as clarify the flow mechanisms and main controlling factors of CO2 foam flooding.关键词
