摘要

Abstract

To address challenge of quantifying the extent of damage of structural adhesives in hidden-frame glass curtain wall structures,a damage identification method based on discrete wavelet transform is proposed.Rubber hammers are used to excite the glass panels,and high-sensitivity accelerometers are employed to collect vibration response signals.The db3 wavelet basis function is selected to decompose the signals into six layers,with the maximum modulus of the detail coefficients serving as the damage indicator.An experimental setup involving 600 mm × 600 mm frameless glass curtain wall specimens is designed,encompassing seven scenarios:single-sided damage ranging 0~75%and multi-sided damage with varying degrees of severity at different locations.Data from 49 measurement points are systematically collected.The results show that the d4 layer detail coefficient modulus maximum exhibit a strong linear negative correlation with damage severity(R2=0.98).For each increase of one level in damage severity,the modulus maximum decreases by 11.3 m/s2,and under severe damage conditions,the d4 value decreases by 75.1%compared to the undamaged state.The coefficients of the d2 and d3 layers are sensitive to damage location,combined with the spatial differences in the decrease in the modulus maximum of the d4 layer,the decrease varies by 5.7 m/s2 when the damage is located on the opposite side or adjacent to the measurement point,enabling reliable localization of the damage location.Compared to traditional modal analysis methods,the method does not require modeling,reducing identification errors by over 40%,providing high-precision,interference-resistant technical support for curtain wall safety monitoring.
