母子时型一致性与学龄前期儿童情绪行为问题的关系
Association between mother-child synchrony in circadian preference and emotional and behavioral problems among preschoolers

Abstract
Objective To explore the mother-child synchrony in circadian preference and its association with emotional and behavioral problems among preschoolers.Method A total of 826 mother-preschooler dyads were enrolled.Data were collected using a self-designed demographic questionnaire,the simplified morningness-eveningness questionnaire,the children's circadian preference questionnaire,and the strengths and difficulties questionnaire.All questionnaires were completed by mothers.A total of 736 valid questionnaires were collected.The relevant data were statistically analyzed.Results A total of 313 mother-child dyads showed synchrony,accounting for 42.5%of the valid samples.One-way ANOVA results showed significant differences in internalizing problems,externalizing problems,and prosocial behavior among children with different circadian preference combinations(all P<0.05).Multiple linear regression analysis revealed that compared to the consistent intermediate type,children with the consistent morningness type had lower levels of both internalizing and externalizing problems(P<0.05,P<0.001);children with the consistent eveningness type had higher levels of externalizing problems(P<0.01).Compared to the consistent morningness type,children with the mother-intermediate/child-morningness type had higher levels of externalizing problems(P<0.05).Compared to the consistent eveningness type,children with the mother-intermediate/child-eveningness type had lower levels of externalizing problems(P<0.05).Children with the consistent morningness type exhibited significantly higher prosocial behavior than those with the consistent intermediate type(P<0.001),mother-morningness/child-intermediate type(P<0.001),mother-morningness/child-eveningness type(P<0.01),and mother-intermediate/child-eveningness type(P<0.01).Conclusion The mother-preschooler synchrony in circadian preference is relatively low,and such dyadic synchrony is associated with children's emotional and behavioral problems.The findings highlight the importance of mother-child circadian synchrony in the development of children's emotions and behaviors.关键词
