Abstract

To verify the green application effectiveness of by-product residue from a 45×104 t/a coal-oil co-processing industrial demonstration plant,an analysis and detection method for polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs)was established by gas chromatography,and the distribu-tion of PAHs in the residue of the coal-oil co-processing reaction system was determined,and a polymerization modification method was applied to remove PAHs.The influence of the modifier,catalyst,solvent,reaction temperature and time on the removal rate of PAHs and the total equivalent content of BaP in the residue was researched,and key indicators were also compared before and after residue modification.The results show that the content of PAHs in the residue is 18.15 mg/g,includ-ing phenanthrene,anthracene,fluoranthene,pyrene,benzo[a]anthracene,chrysene,benzo[b]fluor-anthene,indeno[1,2,3-cd]pyrene and other 16 components.In the conditions of 30%(mreagent:mresidue)terephthaldehyde,40%(mreagent:mresidue)sulfuric acid,50 mL toluene,a reaction temperature of 80℃and reaction time 4h,the maximum removal rate of PAHs and the total equivalent removal rate of BaP in the modified residue reach 98.46%and 95.34%respectively,due to the synergistic effect of electrophilic substitution of modifier,acidic catalysis of catalyst and physical dilution of solvent.After modification,the content of aromatic hydrocarbon decreases from 57.50%to 33.46%,the content of aliphatic compound and oxygen compounds increases from 25.24%to 37.43%,and oxygen-containing compounds increases by 9.56%.The softening point increases from 105 ℃ to 118 ℃,the penetration degree decreased by 2.2(50℃,0.1 mm),and the thermal stability and rheological prop-erties of the residue are improved to some extent.
